Default Can u see your gasket on a FAST 90??

This is probably a stupid question, but i just got done putting the burst panels in my fast 90 and thought that since i had everything out that i would put the throttle body and plate on. I have a nitro daves 90mm plate (awe inspiring piece) and a NW throttle body. when everything was tight, and yes the gasket on the manifold side is seated correctly, i can see the gasket on the bottom and top of the manifold side. Not too much but i can see it. I dont think it will cause any issues, i just wanted to know if this was common. It seems that the intake is not square. I hope it doesnt cause a big *** vaccum leak or i will probably be pissed as hell for what this intake cost me.

I've got a HSW plate and you cannot see the gasket. Not sure how much different it is than your but I'd imagine that the flat portion that contacts the intake is the same. HSW does provide an o-ring that install on the intake and then use your stock one on the plate to TB side.

^ Same here. No sight of a gasket with my hsw plate neither. I had issues installing the gaskets from hsw's instructions, so I did it vise versa: Hsw o-ring to plate/tb and the orange fast gasket to intake/plate. BUT, this is also a fast 92, so that may have been the case.

I just put my FAST 90, NW, and NitroDaves plate together this weekend, and I didnt see any gasket. The merges between the TB-Plate and plate-manifold were smooth as hell with no gaps and no gasket showing. Not sure whats happening with yours man

You are ok, the oring is what is sealing the tbody to the plate. So if you have the bolts snug your good. Do not over tighten your bolts. Snug is fine.
