Default ARC 120v Bottle heaters

Has anyone used one? Can be run on 3 different DC Voltages 12VDC (car Battery) 13.8VDC (car alternator) 16VDC (Race Battery) ALSO can be run on 120 Volt AC (generater or house current. It puts out 400 watts on 120v, that seems like a lot. I have a race batt so I can leave a normal heater on right now, just looking for other options to heat the bottle without the car running.

They are bad ***. Call them and tell them what you want. I think it was like 105 for the kit with springs and all. We use them on all our bottles as a 120v and hook it right up to the generator. Those mother fers heat a bottle in no time. It will burn you. We try and keep as much load off the battery and starting system as possible. We have a bad *** Honda generator though.

Thats what I wanted to hear. I have a 13,500 watt generator so power isn't a problem, plus I always trailer my car so I always have power. I have never heard of them until last week. My friend is wiring up a racecar and the owner brought him the heater kit. When I looked at it I was really inpressed, it is a 100% complete kit, even comes with a roll of wire.

They sell just there heater like what you posted for $140. Will you match that, yours is $199? Didn't know you had anything like that. How many watts does your put out off the 120v? Do you sell anything to control the pressure while on 120v?

I think you can still use thier pressure switch...you would just need a relay for 12v on coil side and 120v on the contact side. You should be able to pick that up at an electric supply place.

like this one for .99c

Just be careful wiring the 120 correctly.

Thanks for the link, even better. I will be ordering shortly. Do you have anything to control the pressure while on the 120? They have some kind of 120v electric regulator thats about $90 I think. I would like to be able to use the 120v and not have to worry about getting the bottle psi to high.

Thanks again for all your help.

Yes, I dont ever plan on even using the 12v part. I just want something to control the 120v part. I already have nitrous in my car, I just want a 120v heater and a way to contol the bottle pressure so I dont have to watch the gauge with the heater plugged in. Arc hs what looks like a 120v temperature controller to control the bottle pressure. Do you have something that will control the 120v to maintain bottle pressure?
