Default Installed new switch.

I had a ashtry switch and did not like it so I made this one. What do you think? I might re-do it. I should of ground the plate down and painted it. The layout of the holes were off also. I used a dremel tool to make the holes large enought. If I had the right tools I could do much better but I think it will work for now. The plate also does not stay snapped in.

nice little rainbow panel. why not have it flipped the other way though as the pontiac logo is upside down?

I might try that. There are a lot of wires back behind there.

I would dump the big colored switches and just do black, but hey that's just me and if you like it that is all that really counts. Though outside of colors it's a top notch job imo.

Those switches were on the HSW Switch Plate that I bought.

Looks pretty sharp IMO. Darker/same color buttons would probably blend in better, but it still looks damn good and I'm sure will get the job done fine.

Its way better than my first effort !

Check with the GM dealer, and see if you can buy that insert (I bet ya can, it it would be anywhere from $15-35). See if you can get one without a logo Maybe the compare the Camaro one ? They can order both, and you leave with the one that works.

Switches I was using the Radio Shack Momentary (Red or Black), and the Walmart LED Rockers (Red/Blue/Amber, sometimes I come across a Walmart with Green). Each of the Holes are 1/2" for those switches.

LOL if your not careful, the panel may become an Obsession!

Thanks beer. This was my first one and I am sure I will be doing another one.
1/2" switches would make it easier.
