Default Kit Choice

Ok, just wanted to get some opinions on what kit I want to buy. I have narrowed it down to two kits. Both are plate kits.

Harris Speed Works:

http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop...cat=340&page=1

And the other is Nitrous Outlet:

http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...roduct_id=1131

I'm also open to other recommendations or suggestions. The car is a 02 TA with Heads and Cam putting down just over 400 to the wheels (uncorrected) at 6000 feet above sea level.

they're basically going to be the same thing. My kit consists of parts from dynotune, hsw and nitrous outlet and they're all quality parts. Pick whichever kit you like best

Yeah, I know they are both good kits and that why they made my short list. I research every product I plan to purchase for my car to make sure I'm getting quality product.

Just getting some opinions on who has used what and what works well.

I was actually looking at Cold Fusion kits last night. Seems like a good kit for the money. I will keep them in mind.

A big thing to look into with all the other N2O companies is their solenoid warranty.
Cold Fusion had the best warranty at the time I bought my kit.

If your considering Cold Fusion from Nitrous Direct...reconsider and go with Nitrous Outlet/HSW/or Dynotune, Nitrous Direct WAS a forum sponsor and got the BOOT ...

No, Nitrous Direct carries Cold Fusion as well as manufactures. Nitrous Direct had issues here and some other forums w/ customers and other sponsors. Just stay clear of Nitrous Direct is the best advice I can give on the purchase of your kit, I only brought them up because I know they claimed to be the biggest CF Dealer.

I bought my CF kit from CF here in Houston where they are located.

I would speak with Mike, he is the owner of CF and is easy to get ahold of.

The Harris folks were highly recommended to me by local and national customers. Their products and service are first rate. I don't have any experience with Nitrous Outlet. Depending on your setup, you may still need some components from other vendors. I wanted a window switch and custom switch panel. Bought both from Dynotune (Trick Performance window switch, panel by Beer). Dynotune guys were also great. To me, the Harris advantage was that they are available and extremely responsive to questions and problems.

A friend bought his entire kit from Dynotune. He speaks very highly of them.

Both kits are great. Without starting a gigantic pissing match, I would have to say that the edge concerning plates would have to go to HSW due to the 360* spray pattern

I am not a fan of these post. The reason why is that you are simply going to get a bunch of responces based off of what people are using and there personal preference. Some of those responces are based off educated opinions and some are not.

There are more to a system than pictures and prices. I highly suggest comparing the parts in the systems apples to apples as well as the service you recieve afterwords. Then make an educated decision for yourself.

If we can answer any questions technically for you please contact us. I we be happy to tell you why we are so proud of our products.. As well as why choosing Nitrous Outlet for all your Nitrous Needs is a choice you will not regret!

A good read for knowing what to compare can be found on our technical forum.

No matter what product you choose please support one of the site sponsors. After all we are here for you.

Thanks
Dave

The biggest difference is flow rate....The HSW guys please correct me if I am wrong....the HSW plate will max flow 200hp....the Nitrous Outlet plate will max flow 400hp.

And on the warranty someone mentioned that Cold Fusion had the best warranty....how can you have "better" than a lifetime warranty .

My late father always asked "whose lifetime, mine or yours?"
