Just kinda feelin out the idea of runnin more timing. Currently I am running 26.5 degrees and have no knock with a 150 shot. Just wanted see what other people were running with similar mods.

DO NOT tune your car with the knock sensors!

If your car knocks on the spray its probably to late to save it.

Take what ever the max timing you run on motor and take out AT LEAST 6* for a 150 shot.

Timing doesnt make a huge difference in HP you will find more power getting the A/F correct then adding timing.

+1 never tune off the knock sensors, the only accurate way to tell is to read the plugs.... For 150 shot I would take 4 degrees out.

So you think I should leave it or even cool it down a little? I've run at least 3 bottles through it already at 150 shot.

If you doubled it to a 300 shot would you only pull 6* out?

pull 2 more degrees out and run it and I bet it does not slow down.
Then lean the car out with those 2* still out and run the car and I bet it goes faster.

You guys can be out in left field with a 150 shot and not hurt anything, when you turn up the wick is when you need to know what going on.

For a 150-hit, most of the cars I tune end up leaving at about 26-28 on motor and 20-22 on the jug. There is just no good reason to be at 26.5 deg on the bottle. It's not making a bunch of power with the extra timing, it's just pushing you a little closer to the edge.

I run 27-28 on motor, 20 on the 150 hit, 93/100 mix.
