how much timing?
Just kinda feelin out the idea of runnin more timing. Currently I am running 26.5 degrees and have no knock with a 150 shot. Just wanted see what other people were running with similar mods.
DO NOT tune your car with the knock sensors!
If your car knocks on the spray its probably to late to save it.
Take what ever the max timing you run on motor and take out AT LEAST 6* for a 150 shot.
Timing doesnt make a huge difference in HP you will find more power getting the A/F correct then adding timing.

well i haven't tuned off of knock sensors but I was talking to some friends who run close to 30* in there big blocks. Just wondering if anybody else was running that much or what.

im 26 on motor with a ms3 cam only motor, went to 27&28 and only picked up a few so we put it back to 26 to be on the safe side and run 20 with 100 octane on a 150 shot... afr 11.7-11.9.... i dont know how your running 26.5 on the shot, id check afr
If you doubled it to a 300 shot would you only pull 6* out?
pull 2 more degrees out and run it and I bet it does not slow down.
Then lean the car out with those 2* still out and run the car and I bet it goes faster.
You guys can be out in left field with a 150 shot and not hurt anything, when you turn up the wick is when you need to know what going on.

Ya that was what TSP tuned it at and no don't have clue what my A/F is and the truth is since my first post on here I ran another bottle through with no prob making that the 10th bottle so............. fck it.
For a 150-hit, most of the cars I tune end up leaving at about 26-28 on motor and 20-22 on the jug. There is just no good reason to be at 26.5 deg on the bottle. It's not making a bunch of power with the extra timing, it's just pushing you a little closer to the edge.
