Has anyone tried to hide their msd 8969? I just got done installing the 1st gear lock out switch and there is no extra room under the center console for it.

Where have some of your stealthed away the 8969?

Thanks

hide it behind the glove box or at least look to see if there is enough room

Default tried

Tried that, box won't fold up if you hide something behind it. NM, i'll figure something out.

I mean, it's not like this is a technical forum where people go to for advice..ya know so they don't have to tear everything apart themselves...this is assuming someone has actually done the work though...it may be that the only people on this forum are people that follow kit instructions or take their car in to have someone else work on it.

I mounted it upside down on the back of my glovebox itself more to the passengers side. When you flip the glovebox down and push the tabs out it is rightside up and can be programmed. It came out pretty good, i'll take pictures tomorrow. (this way the next person that searches will know there is room and won't have to dick around)

Glove box, under the Dash, in the center console ( Where the shifter is ), under a seat, etc... It just depends on how much wiring and hassle you want to go through.
