Well I'm gonna have my work cutout for me this week, you guys have just inspired me to rewire and redo my switch panel.

Along with a clutch swap, tranny rebuild, dual cutouts, ABS delete, Line Lock, and dynamatting the entire interior.

Got a fuse panel from the local auto parts, the first one was just a fuse panel, I later found one similiar but also had a ground bus (that one is pictured)

10 Guage wire + from the factory "fuse relay center" (there was a hot lug inside it); to the fuse panel I added. Then the relays put to the + Fuse Block lugs on the panel I added.

Here is my diagram

I forget I think 16-18. Call one of the vendors Nitrous Outlet/HSW/or Dynotune and ask what Gauge to use for switch wiring.

So when you wire in all your switched 12V in wires like that, how do you fuse them??? I just didn't think it was a good idea to wire them all up to ONE wire like that. If it is ok then I know that will clean up A LOT of my install.

I wire them all up to one and put a 4amp fuse in, it's unnecessary as my switches are rated for like 30 amps, but it protects my window switch I guess.

So you use a single 16-18 Gauge wire that runs current to all of your switches and then you place a single 4 amp fuse in-line for your 12V switched power source?

I guess if you use relays for all of the accessories then you really wouldn't have to worry about it.

But is this still right?

In my case there is a fused switched pigtail (ducted tape ready for use from the factory) in the passenger footwell of the C-5 that has a 20 amp fuse to it. I just spliced into that wire and it powers everything on my panel. Most of it is control stuff, less than 1 amp.

Dry Arm---relay
Wet Arm---relay
Purge---relay

Line Lock---direct to solenoid

Opener direct to Opener (no relay)
Wideband- Power and cal switch

relays need like no power to switch the main line to on..but they need a LOT of power to power accessories...they have an activation lead and a ground..then a main power lead and the line going to what needs to be powered.

But nobody seems to get power for the relays from under the dash...44 view no answer!!
