Props to tuff (8.38@167)

I forgot to post this a while back, but Michael (tuff) reportedly went 8.38@167 on a 1.29 short time during a GLD True Street event. Let's hear more!

Dunno, Michael has been real busy lately so I heard about this new ET from our mutual friend Neil who does chassis work for a lot of us and he's been helping out Michael at the track.

Wow, is all I can say. keeping track of the fast lists i get an idea of how hard it is to get the LSx platform into the eights and only a select few can get their combo just right. That would be a #3 spot on the all time n2o fast list (#1 is 8.23), and certainly #1 on the current '08 fast list. Maybe Mike will see this and post his time slip as myself and others would really like to see the split. Anyway, congrats to Tuff on a job well done getting that new motor sorted out. A 167mph trap speed indicates that a quicker ET could be had under the right track prep and air conditions. Any videos John?

John we will be faster every time out but were still limted to running the 8.20 cap.We would have hit that number sooner but we had a bad shock on the back of the car making it a handfull to get down the track.We did get the suspenion sorted out and now we can work on are cap number.BTW john get me some drag radials and ill make the road trip to memphis.If we go that is when we will put the tuneup in it to run the number everyone wants to see!!!
