Default NOS Fogger nozzle killing me?

I think the fogger nozzle is killing me. Anyone else on here have experience trying to push a 150 shot through a single original fogger nozzle? I'm using a 63/32 n2o/fuel jet combo and running 11.5-12.0 afr's. based on what i'm reading i'll need to up my jets to really get a 150 shot out of this nozzle.

i guess my options are:

1. up the jets

2. buy a second fogger nozzle and use them in conjunction

3. buy a better nozzle like the nx shark or s.h.o., hsw black mamba, tnt nozzle, or the dynotune. they seem to be better nozzles more designed for 150 hp. (i'd like the system to be able to support 200hp without a doubt

4. or buy a plate setup

i'm looking for some suggestions, thanks

upping the jets wont help the orfice in that nozzle is too small...get an nx shark nozzle and the nx 150 jets and you will see an increase....ive ran that nos nozzle on 4 differnt cars and it maxes out around 100rwhp

ya that seems to be the case. with the supposed 150 jets it made 86rwhp. i just talked to the tech line and they said it's suppose to be good for 150 but I guess I don't believe it. he said the orifice is suppose to be .080, and I imagine you would probably have to run the same size jet to get 150 out of it lol.

Not really, the NOS kit that I put on my girlfriend's car picked up almost exactly 100 rwhp

Her car made:

MOTOR
353 RWHP
362 RWTQ

N20
462 RWHP
475 RWTQ

Pretty accurate if you ask me.

do you remember what jets you used and what nozzle it came with? the fogger2 and the softplume nozzles are noticeably better than the fogger nozzle it seems, although not quite as good as something like the shark nozzle

It is just the basic NOS nozzle, the little black one.

I don't remember what the jets were, whatever the little chart said would = a 100 shot

Her car is an auto too.

ya, the original Fogger nozzle SEEMS to be good for 100whp or so, then it seems to max out.

The plate, even the NOS plate, seems capable of supporting more power reliably.

I swapped out the original Fogger nozzle for one of the Fogger "Soft Plume" Stainless Steel nozzles and it made a noticeable difference: My friend and his Mach 1 w/nitrous used to beat me, now I beat him :-) Chalk one up for the good guys

Holley/NOS says the plate is good up to 200 rwhp shot. Everything they give you in the kit is good for up to 400 (-6 nitrous line, large solenoids, etc.) so all you really have to do is swap the plate out for a nitrous outlet one if you plan on doing a larger than 200 single hit through a plate (probably a bad idea?). The NOS foggers were originally designed to be a direct port nozzle so it wasn't meant to flow AS much as the nozzles out there that were designed to be a single fogger in itself. I got the NX shark for my Supra's nitrous spool up kit, but im using NOS everything else (i get a good deal with Holley/NOS stuff through work).
