Default IBM T42 Laptop LOADED

UPDATE- I have an inventory of roughly 4 of these right now. $240 SHIPPED

I have sold IBM T41's for over a year now and the supplies dried up. HAHA Well that was bad news until I made it to my companies annual sale this weekend and found that they are now offering the more powerful T42 for just a bit more. I went ahead and upgraded myself and have an extra one for sale. While the looks of the T4X series laptops are the same the hardware has a few nice changes. The 2 biggest are the faster processor, more memory, and BIOMETERICS. What is this you ask??? Well each of these laptops has a scanner/sensor on the palm rest that allows you to register your finger print locally on the machine and instead of typing in a username and password you simply swipe a finger and BAM. Your in With the additional memory snf processor these are a nice improvement for ALL your computer needs. No Corvette Tax here $250 + fees. I will also include a DVD with the Windows XP OS so you can wipe it anytime if you ever need. . The physical condition is perfect. Here are some details and some "canned" pictures of the condition.

IBM T42 Thinkpad
15" TFT Display
40GB Hard drive
1GB of PC2700 Memory
1.7-1.8 Intel mobile pentium processors
ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 video chipset
Internal Intel Wireless 2200 B/G NIC
CDR/DVD drive

Software
Windows XP Professional (valid key on bottom of laptop)
Microsoft Office XP (for testing only)
Win DVD
Record Now
Codec for DVD viewing
Symantec Corporate Antivirus
ThinkVantage
And if you plan on Tuning with HP tuners I can include the latest version 2.2 preloaded
and much more

I want to say 3GB. With 1GB they run perfect. 2GB they fly, 3GB hell you can power a sub. HAHA Just kidding. I will say though if you want one, run it with 1GB first. I can download a tune from the car, play the audio, and surf the web at the same time with no issues.

Dustin- If I remember correctly I sent you one of these. I hope all is well. Yesterday I was able to move 3 of them so I am down to about 4 left and I think no more. I dont want to sit on them for months at a time. It was a fun run.

Payday is coming and my 8 year old PC has alot of grinding noises in that case...

I have bought one laptop from teddy already and it is working very well. A T42 might just be the addition to the family that I need. Too bad I couldnt have you clean up this desktop of mine.

dustin- If the 8 year old machine is making a "grinding" sound 9/10 its the hard drive. In that case I would pull a backup of all the data on the drive in case it crashes. If you need another laptop I would be glad to help.

Good diagnostic ability there. I figured it was the hard drive since it grinds bad on start up and when I access anything in the C drive

I backed up my photos and a few files a couple days back. I definitely need to find a replacement and having something I can also tune with would be ideal. PM me your number one more time if you don't mind and let's figure something out.

Yeah this is way more then just a tuning laptop. But they work great for it. Ask the 150 people on the boards I have sold to that use these for that very purpose. HAHA PM sent buddy. Looks like a have others interested as well. All pm's will be answered.
