FS: True Dual over the axle exhaust
Had a buyer for them but he found a set local to him so I'm putting these back up for sale.
Located in Tuscaloosa, AL
This was on my 97 Lt1 with Hooker longtubes. It is 2.5" pipe going into flowmaster low profile race mufflers and then out turndowns. Everything is well hidden when on the car. I painted the underside and backs of the mufflers with flat black paint for a sleeper look, but you could easily have some chrome tips or whatnot welded on if you wanted. These tucked up real nice and never scraped.
The mufflers were over 100 a piece by themselves. System was custom made by a local exhaust shop. It wasn't cheap and they did an excellent job. None of my suspension or undercarriage was modified for these. They fit around all the stock stuff.
The only reason I removed them was b/c I wanted to go back to the stock SLP 2OTL system for a stock look/sound.
These are clean and rust free (some surface rust on the welds). I had to cut it in a couple places to remove it from the car, but nothing a decent welder couldn't put back together. Looking to get 300 plus shipping. If I ship I may have to cut them in another place or two to fit them in a box.
And here they were on the car:

yeah, if you could get me a shipping quote, you can send it to robo_4522@yahoo.com
I will take the whole setup if shipping isn't too much and i can get all the money.

Shipping will probably be, and I'm guessing here, at least 30 bucks if not 40. Talkin to a guy right now who wants em, but since I haven't gotten the shipping quote yet we haven't exchanged any money. These things weigh a good bit. It weighs a little less w/o the mufflers though, so that might help with shipping costs.

Yes I still have them, I've had a lot of trouble getting any shipping quotes b/c the exhaust was too big to fit in any standard size box, and too big to put in my car to take anywhere (post office, ups, etc) to weigh. So last weekend I took it to my parents place (with the help of someone with a larger vehicle) and cut it into more manageable pieces so that it would fit in a box and into my car easily. I forgot to bring it back with me though lol. I'll be going back to get it this weekend and will finally be able to get people shipping quotes!
Here is a picture showing where I cut the exhaust. red lines indicate where I cut (the middle red line I chose not to cut so really I only cut it on the two outer red lines). You can also see the the existing cuts from when it was removed from the car.
I cut the mufflers off since most people were only interested in the pipes. All of this can be easily welded back together at any muffler shop, or in your own garage if you have a welder. I numbered every cut on the pipe with a black marker so you can easily match up where each pipe goes.

If you wanna sell it seperate I would take just the middle section (between the y and mufflers). I already have a good ypipe w/ cats that I wanna keep. I really just want the middle section and the piece that goes over the axle. It may save on shipping costs also, let me know. Thanks
