Default 355 SBC longblock FS, complete w/ carb

i have a mildly built 355 for sale, been sitting covered in my garage for a year and a half now, and i could really use some cash. it has a cast gm crank and rods, balanced/blueprinted, arp rod bolts, world s/r torker heads, speedpro powerforged dome pistons (9.4:1 with the 76 cc heads on there right now, 10.5:1 with 64's, and 11.4:1 with 58's) not sure on the cam specs, but it sounded pretty nasty when it was running, my friend that built it recommended a 2800-3000 stall and a 3.42 or 3.73 gear for how big the cam was. and a holley street dominator single plane intake. this is the complete motor from oil pan to intake, and i will include the edelbrock carburetor for an extra $50

$700 obo

almost brand new edelbrock 750 carburetor, only been on the car for a couple months, only ran maybe 30 minutes, was 275 new, will take $100 obo

will take $750 for both, and am open to trades as well for 98-02 f-body suspension/bolt on/other mods

everything is located on the southeast side of houston, in seabrook, pm or call me at 281-794-0759

david

good deal if its low miles and bearings/block look good. If you were closer I would serious think about that.

the engine only has maybe half an hour of run time on it since it was assembled, was started about 5 times total, and driven around the block once. it was for a project that never got finished, just in case anyone was wondering

Is the carb a performer 600 or what? Do you know what kind of bearings are in the engine?

not sure on the carb, the box is buried somewhere in my garage which still contains a lot of my house post ike, but the bearings were just new stock replacements iirc
