it take's the pick up from the optispark and it has its own controller to control 4 coils. each coil has 2 plug outputs and it provides a much higher spark output and a more consistent output. When my camaro was running this thing made it run the best its ever run before for sure just from letting the motor get full spark in each cylinder the way its supposed to.

Just to give you guys a little more info; I've run a Delteq setup on my old 1996 LT1 camaro... and it's really a must-have system for the LT1. The stock LT1 ignition system is garbage (as most of you guys know) and is really the cause for most of the reliability problems of the LT1 engine. If you're stuck using the LT1, get this ignition system. It's well worth it, especially at this price.

Do you have any pics of it on your motor? I would like to see how everything is mounted and the wires run. And on the web page you posted it said something about getting any problem codes fixed before the delteq would work, what is that refering to.
