Work great on a 355 with a power band of about 2200-6500 RPM and a 150-250 shot of niotrous. It would be about like the CC 306 but a lil choppier idle and make more HP and TQ thru the entire RPM range. As long as you have a stall to keep the engine from having a load on it right off idle, it will work great.
It needs good springs to handle the .600/.624 lift.
It can work in a 383 and the extra stroke will lower the RPM range about 200 RPM (2000-6300 RPM).
