Well think of all the runs you have done that rear and dumping at 5500 and then out there drifting and some other type if racing I won't say..lol.. Its bound to happen sooner or later. So I say just find out what gave first and up grade If you can. And didn't mike do the same thing?

Hell I have like $1500 into my 3rd member didnt go cheap and if it breaks I will be pissed. I bought the iron N-case and went with a detroit 35 spline locker. I figure why under build something you will eventually overpower.

Nothing wrong with ford parts, my uncle's ranger (with a 572, haha) ran high 8's low 9's on a non-nodular third member, high 7's with all the aftermarket crap. I think he broke it around 8.8 or so in the 1/4.
Launched pretty good back in the day, I love how everyone says the non-nodular cases are crap, really not that bad if they're setup right. I also love when I'm in staging at PIR in the 'stang and all the 12sec mustang tards run around telling me how the 4-lug rear is weak and crap.... right. It's all in the setup and quality of the parts.

havent posted here in awhile. figured id update you guys. my engine finally showed up
AES 427. Manley crank and manly H-lite rods. Custom cam by Fraser at AES. Going to assemble the long block over the next week then get the car in the shop to pull the stock motor. ($750 if anyone wants it.) Just waiting on the textralia OZ700 to get here.
Once the car is in the shop, going to send the ecu to Mike at vengeance racing to have a base tune loaded on so the car will start. Then ill trailer it up to Tom Wongs and have him work his magic.
Have a kirk 4 point roll bar going on and a pfdat suspension as well.
Recently put on a carbon ZR hood too.
and lastly, got a killer deal on a real tiger shark front that was damaged. had a friend repair and paint it for $225. had him air brush this on the front too. Hes painting the tiger shark lip right now too. Going to put all this on once the motor swap is done.
