Yes, or know someone that can get you a pass. I've heard they loosened up on that policy though cuz of the economy....?

they set it off about 30 feet from the run group and warn you if you're loud before actually asking you to get out of it.

they aren't nearly as much of hard-asses about noise as some of the other groups I've run with

I had no clue there was an AutoX club out of Eugene.

I bet! The fiancee and I want to buy a vacation home in Henderson, Nevada. Awesome area and a short drive from the strip. Plus Red Rock Canyon is close by and there are so many long desert roads to top the car out on.

Basically, I'm moving to Eugene and am looking for a good club in the area. I want to get my driving skills back up so I'm comfortable entering this hill climb:

those are the same guys that run all of the autox in eugene - there is also a decent group in Salem and I understand Medford has a group as well but i've never run with them.

Thanks tongboy, are you still going to events? Maybe I'll drop you a line once I'm out there.
What about you 98gold? Are you anywhere near Eugene?

any events that don't coincide with a portland event or a packwood event i'll likely be at.

I'm also planning on running with them for their hillclimb next year, assuming I get my car sold and the new one built in time.
