Yeah that would I been a blast to go with you but I think that would of been to far of a walk home..lol.. So how did it do? And any vids?
Yeah I called him Monday to let him know that the rings needed to be gapped for the N2o but I had to leave a message instead. Anyways I hope it would be done for thanksgiving but if not, oh well..lol

Yup. Just finished my Jeep a few weeks ago....took it out to Browns Camp, and had a blast from 7pm to 3am (with 6 other Jeeps). lol I was gonna take Tyler with me, but just could not figure out a way to get him home. We're probably going to make a road trip down south (maybe K-falls area) in the next month or so...and hopefully MANY road trips to the snow this winter. If you want, I can let ya know when a trip is coming up.
Oh...and DON'T SELL THE T/A. I know that the "scene" might be dead right now, but things will change. I've had mine down for a few years now, even though it's now driveable....it's just not "ready" enough yet. Keep the faith, man! lol Just let the Jeep be your diversion.
I tried calling Craig today, and could not get through. I'll probably stop by and visit him tomorrow, and try to get an ETA for everything. Mid-November might be a bit of a crunch, but we'll see

Glad to hear the build is coming together "T". Seems like you'll be needing a daily driver soon as well. That things gonna be a beast. Better get a rear end :O . That way you can prove to the fam that it still rolls and you haven't killed yourself. I'm sure you're gonna keep it as a toy from here out? Daily drivin a 10 second car? Haha. Sounds like it'll be together and in the car in a few months? !!!!

Well I should be getting my motor back sometime this month and will probably be picking up a set of CNC'd 243 heads for a pretty good price ( maybe )... Also should have gaskets and fluids, hopefully everything for the motor to be put together and installed by mid November. fingers crossed!!

Whoa whoa whoa, Lol... lets wait until he has a timeslip showing a 10 sec pass before giving the car a title like that. You have to earn that title, not just throw it around like a movie prop lol... I dont even consider my Z28 a 10 second car even though it has the goods. 11.03 is still not a 10 imo.
Ive seen a lot of 600+rwhp 6sp cars not run a 10 sec pass fwiw.

First time out with the GoPro, and the battery died MUCH faster than expected. I'm going to look into a power supply setup for it. I'll be ready next time! LOLNo need to worry about that, as we can easily do it....unless you're planning to just have him do all the assembly. Either way is fine with me, but I'm not sure how quick he'll be getting to all of it....or me either, for that matter. lol

For it being a 10sec car with the right set up it would be one cause it'll have pretty close to 700whp. But like you said, its my toy and I would like to do everything from cruising to drag racing. So when all said is done and if i hit low 11's Im cool with that..

Because the car scene around here is pretty much dead and the car just sits. If there was more of a active crowd that met up and cruised around here I would consider keeping it. Plus I'm going to be moving back out to Washington and I've got a bucket list of things I want for my new place. I plan on getting another car at some point. What, I don't know. I would like to get into a 2002+ C5 Z06 or a C6 w/ a LS3.
cheaper. like 13-14k for one now adays. I paid 18k for mine 4 years ago.I almost pulled the trigger on an 08 vette. But the money I got from parting out my s2000 and trading it in, was enough to get the vette without payments. So as much as I wanted a LS3, I couldnt spend 30-35k for one.

Hey guys I've got an iron 6.0L truck engine I'm working on for my car. I'd like to swap the heads/intake on it because they are iron and am torn between the L92/LS3 and the LS2 top end parts. I am pretty sure it is going to be a NA motor so I'd like to bump up the compression. The goal is to have over 400hp, I think with either of these heads and the right cam I can get there but I need a little advice from people who know more than me.
When I started reading I thought I'd go with the L92s but then I was thinking the LS2 parts are less money and would give me more compression. The problem is if I want the LS2 heads to flow like the L92s they need to be ported and that almost makes the compression the same in the end and it costs more money.
