im gonna be goin back out on the tug soon. my goal for after this trip is to finnaly get my SS back on the road. i know i can get the front end fixed pretty easy and cheap. but im still at a loss for my multiple random misfire code. my thought it its either the #1-intake manifold, #2 fuel pump, #3 injectors or a combo of these things. i dont rerally think its the intake mani since i fixed the crack and it ran good for about a month after installing it. i feel lazy but i havent even checked the plugs. maybe one of you guys may have some insight on this? maybe ill just replace the intake with a mamo 102 and switch out fuel pump and injectors? hell idk i just miss my car like crazy and summer is right around the corner. if you guys have any ideas, please let me know your thoughts. thanks fellas

Yeah, I've gone to the cars and coffee a few times with it. Fun group there. Turk, I think it was you I talked with about a buddy of mine just buying a Firehawk.
Was good to meet everyone tonight and hang out. Wish it was under better circumstances
The car did make it home okay. I'm pretty convinced its both a piston and head gasket at this point. My data log doesn't show anything weird, so who knows why.

Well, it's not good at all. Four plugs have their electrodes gone, and #7 is the dead piston. I made some decent progress this morning already ripping everything apart to pull the motor.
I jumppered my pump for my water/meth, and it seemed to start up slow and not spray right away. After a few cycles it was working great. So I'm now wondering if that is part of it. Most likely it was tune related. I had a new wideband on the shelf and just went with how the car was already tuned from the previous owner.
Now the fun begins

So I am looking to get a 233/239 cam with a .595/.603 lift on a 114 lsa. Where would be the cheapest place to get this grind made? It is about $400 at texas speed. Anywhere cheaper?

Starting to get parts together as of today. Just ordered all of my gasket's today. Needing a cam, bearing's, machine work and a tune. So atleast the list is getting smaller.
