LOL I wish for a stroker, unless Blanco takes payments..?? It doesnt sound nasty, it's just starts ticking from the bottom end when you hold it at 2000 rpm's and it wont go away. So thats why I think its a rodbearing starting to go bad. I priced them out and there like 2.45 each and it would take me like 2 hrs to do it if the oil pan is not a bitch to get down. but if that is not the problem then its got to be a valve.

I dont think it's as simple as just to replace the bearing. the crank has to be clearanced and you have to get oversized bearings and they dont make to big of an oversized bearing for the ls1

Hey guys, I'm a long time lurker around here, though the last time I was on here regularly it was just the tacoma guys, great to see some activity around these parts. I roll a SSM 98 Z28 everyday, live in the tigard area. I also have a red 94 Z28 but she mostly just sits in the driveway and rots, till I get her running again and get it out to let something else break.
Tomorrow I was planning on spending in the driveway, gotta give the 98 some love, and try to figure out why the 94 won't start(again). I'm thinking it's the fuel pump but I couldn't get any reading at all on my fuel press guage so it might just be that the guage is toast. I'm really hoping it's not the opti, last repair was the radiator and I may have gotten it wet bleeding the cooling system.
Anyway, what time were you guys thinking about meeting? If it's later in the afternoon I might just put off tinkering with the old girl, but I gotta spend the morning on the 98, time for some much needed maintenance. What's at vancouver lake, is there a track there?
