Torquer V3? Isn't that an older design cam?

Its a Texas-speed cam. I had it in my old Camaro and I used it as a daily and it worked great whipped everyone I raced off this section and I ran a 11.5 at 119 in the 1/4 mile at PIR. You don't need to change gears. I had a 3200 stall converter in my car.

Yep, Tims beater with the TV3 cams pulled hard! Amber, I have a NIB never installed TV3 cam from Texas Speed. $300 if you are interested. They run $400 new before shipping.

Comparing specs between the T V3 and the polluter I see why you might like the TV3 better for drivability.

Do you have the valve springs to go with the cam? Anyone have a spring compressor for when I actually do this?

I figured I would drive the bigger of my two cars just in case I wanted to pick up some ladies. Looks like I've already got one on board

Nope. There isn't really a certain spring that goes with them. It comes down to what you feel comfortable going with. Weather it be a duel spring or beehive spring. I'd recommend a duel. The PSI springs are a solid choice.

Well I have been off for a while, struggling through lol. Broke up with girl for 3 yrs, moved to Tigard from Vancouver (still working in battleground), Easter Sunday nail in tire 2 hrs before work on route to work. Now found another nail after I replaced two tires and rotated and full alignment of the all tires. Mods are held up by ish. 200 in gas every two weeks for travel from work and back.
Buying caster bolts to help with alignment when I get new set. I was planning on getting new rims and tires but...smh.

Sounds like you need a life re-boot. Sell car and get something more practical for your current situation.

Damn, that is a lot to take on. What kind of work do you do in Battleground?

We appreciate the offer and have been thinking very heavily about it. Just a lot of other cost involved with cam swap.

Thanks to the rain I won't be finding out what my 1/4 mile time is tonight as I had hoped to.

I have them on my El Camino because they are the old muscle car tires on 15" rims...I like them on that, but I don't know if I really like them on the lower profile tires.

I don't think the brand of gears is nearly as important as how well the gears are setup.
