I'm hoping the Tahoe will be running the same times as the "bolt on" class this year.

Nice man! Looking forward seeing you back at the track.

If anyone is interested, Sunday early afternoon a few of us are cruising to Hood River for lunch and some rolls Mike, come with. I will treat you to a NY Sub in H.R.

Looking for anyone who can help me with my wiring for my 70 Chevelle, LS1/4L60e. I had a company do the harness but wont start without bridging the starter. I live just outside portland, east side. PM me if you can help. text, PM or email, or even swing by. Let me know. I think it has something to do with chevelle body harness. PM me for details.

time for mods.
couldn't do much last night at PIR
best was 13.3@108. couldn't get lower than a 2.1 60'

wheel hop or spin, couldn't really get a good medium. need to get some 16"s or something for a launch. 19"s suck ***.
oh well. got my baseline runs done. Mod time begins

I take it that was w street tires, no drag radials or anything? Do the G8's share the the same rear suspension as the GTO? If so, I think they are notorious for weak bushings back there. Let the mods begin man!!

yep, full stock everything. pretty much hotlapped, since the car didn't really cool down much.

and the IRS feels the same as the GTO, but i don't remember having as bad wheel hop with it. could pull 1.9 60s in my GTO at woodburn

my brakes were faded on my last run, so i guess those are on my list too

That's about where I was. Mine bone stock on streets did 13.1 at 109. My 60 was terrible. Average was 2.4-2.6. I'm looking forward to see what it's got now.

Hopefully in July sometime. For sure this summer though. I'm waiting to go when Tyler, Dave, Phil, James and my buddy John all go together.

Finally some good news on my LS swap!
I have heads and an intake that actually fit together
Still needs a few (probably more like a ton) things and I'll have to go through the bottom end of the engine but I had to set it kind of together to give me some hope.

They're LS3 Heads and a stock intake

Nice! LS FTW. Everything else takes the backseat. What are the cam specs and what heads did you go with?

No cam yet, so no specs. The heads are 823 castings with new PRC .675 spings and Ti retainers. I got them with all the rockers, pedestals, and TSP 7.4 pushrods.

I still have to figure out all the accessories and small stuff for the engine and the fuel system on the car...I have a ton left to figure out but at least its getting closer and things are definitely on the back burner so I can keep collecting parts.

Nice. Is this for the Elky in your Sig? Any HP goals for this one?

Sweet. Let me know when this happens and I will come down there to spectate. How was the cruise on Sunday. Looked like good weather for it.
