Default Reliable mechanic in Redmond/Bellevue area?

My car is leaking oil. A lot. It's not a couple of drops here and there, its quite noticeable everytime I park it. I'm adding a quart of oil everytime I put gas but I don't think this hold on for long. I need to get this looked at ASAP.

Can anyone recommend some place?

LSxchevelle gave me a quote that was the cheapest i've ever seen. Good guy and I think he has worked in an LS1 once or twice. J/K. Does good work.

I actually had to take it in the nearest auto shop a couple of hours ago. It was smoking from the oil spills. The closest was a Sears. The guy there, first thing he said was "I'll trade my C5 spokes for your Z06 rims". I knew I came to a legit place. Talking to the other guys working there, I found out he has a late model 4th gen ls1 and runs a 175 shot of nitrous. Judging by this I'm pretty sure he is a member here. If you are here, thanks man!

It ended up being just a bad oil senser, I wish I had a garage out here already so that I can do routine work myself. I have to take my car out to do simple things like oil changes.

Anyways thanks for the recommendation, at least now I have two mechanics I can trust.

I don't have a ls1 btw, I'm still on my first car I bought which is a 96 v6 camaro. Hopefully I can convince the fiance, that I need a v8.

We've never met. I have been LURKING on the boards for a while and started participating a few months ago. I saw the thread above and thought that it would be worth knowing someone who has an LS1 and has worked on them before. Just in case I get in over my head and need a trustworthy place to go.

Okay, so maybe not just in case, but more of a matter of when.

So on other forums trolling means that you are instigating fights. I think the term you are looking for is lurking.

You're absolutely right.

In my defense, it's been a looooong week. 6 AM - 9:30 PM workdays since Monday.

Seeing any signs of life? I know the job market has been tight in general.

If you switch somewhere, let us know where you end up.
