I have a 00 bird. I am trying to be realistic. Sounds like we may have a good turn out. Money whats with the header gasket? Tighten those bolts up and lets get busy. You wont blow it because of a header leak. I have an exhaust leak I have to hunt down as well.

Yeah mike try your hardest to get it done I've told my while fam about your car and most of them are coming to root us on...should be a good turn out for sure!! Well the sound is coming from the back of the motor. I check the valve covers and they look good. I'm really hoping it's just a header leak cause it's makeing the noise when you let off the throttle. And you can only hear it when the hood is up.. I'll go through the bolts while I'm at work...

Thanks guys. I'm trying like heck to get this thing ready. The car was too loud last time I ran with the true duals, so I've been busy this week building a new exhaust system for the car. It's a dual-3" Y-pipe into a single 4" custom catback over the rear axle with a single Dynatech 4" muffler. Hopefully this will appeal to the noise ****'s at PIR..... Should have a nice deep mellow tone for cruising also. I got it all tack welded, now I just need to finish welding it up and I still need to bleed the clutch and a few other things.

Well, the black car isn't going to make it down to PIR tonight. The front crank seal is leaking like a siv..... The front timing cover might need re-adjusted but I'm too damn tired to fight with it tonight....

The exhaust sounds killer though... I'll try to post up a vid/pics of the exhaust later tonight or tomorrow.
