Pacesetter are the cheap headers but are not bad for the price. Kooks are the high end header along with American Racing Headers which is what I went with for my Camaro. I would say go with Kooks or ARH, fitment will be better and will get better life out of the header IMO.

Depending on your budget, if you don't care about the cost and you want the best gains then I would go with American Racing Headers. If you plan on getting force air go with the 2" set if not 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" is all you need.

My pacesetters fit great, on a camaro though. But depends on your budget. People run eBay headers fine. Kooks are def higher end but IMO pacesetters are the best bang for your buck, I would say go with them. You also are going to need a new y pipe if you are keeping the catback so keep that in mind with your budget, especially if you want to run cats.
So unless you aren't on a budget, pacesetters. Also guys correct me if I'm wrong but the extra 1/8" isn't gonna make a big enough difference unless you go with a cam?

@megatronss:::
dats what i was thinking of doing ...because i can only sped $1000 this time... i was eaither gonna get the slp diablo tunner and pacesetter LT's w/catless mids...or just kooks LT's and no tunner..
but i've heard alot of people say that pacesetters are bad because of the fitting it doesnt fit dat good and sometimes they get leaks..

Idk my pacesetters fit great and haven't changed color and it's been daily driven for 7 months or so...that's for a camaro though I don't know how they are on a gto. But still I think you should go pacesetters and then get a dyno tune not a programmer...also are you doing the work? Would
Obv effect the budget. But my .02
