Default Check this TB out

Here's a few shots of a TB I found up for sale. I'll need to swap over my own throttle blade assembly. What do you guys think?

What would be that much work? I assumed it would be fairly easy to swap over my throttle blade assembly...

thats pretty good blend job, and a fill, but not very efective. just spend the money and get one from a sponser and then you will know that it is done right. No assy required!!!!

Just looking at it, it looks pretty beat up near the top. You also don't know how much was taken out of the throttle blade area, if its larger, or out of round, the throttle blade won't mate correctly. You have to wonder why he didn't put it back together.

Yeah, I noticed the pitting in the mating surface up near the top. I was thinking I could get it off him for pretty cheap, but you're right, it may not be worth the time/effort to screw around with it.

don't buy it. whoever did it is a hack. the "pitting" at all the mounting holes looks a lot like vice jaw marks. anybody that would clamp aluminum in a vice like that to do the work doesn't have a clue. plus there should be two holes in it. and the tubes for the coolant to run through are torn to ****.

you get the idea

Yeah, I noticed the lack of a PCV hole, and I assume the broken coolant hookups are a half-assed attempt at removal. When I bypass mine I'm just gonna cap them. I tracked down a couple good writeups on TB porting, so I figure I'll take a crack at it.
