Sounds like you had a good day jason, wish i could have been there. I would have looved to hear their comments on my car.

Yhea some of them imoprts are pretty quick, but most ree just slow. So much for the fast and the fullof **** cars all in the tens.

lol, yeah that was that red Civic with the full roll cage and everything. I think he ran a 14.9 or so... dusted him real bad. From that point on, he always lined up in the same lane as me so he wouldn't have any chance of being paired with me again.

HAHA, I was worried about him.....

I knew something was wrong with the ricer crowd when one of them asked me: What the "fastest" you can run without a helmet....

On a much lighter note there was a cute girl with a black acura that "looked" fast

I ended up going to Mazama for some skiing, and it was definitely worth it. Been kinda pissed that I haven't got to ski this year, and the conditions out there were awesome. Sunny weather, warm, great glide.

Sucks that I missed on the racing, but I know what my car runs.

I've got the taillights out of it right now anyway.. Starting phase one of getting the looks of the car back to showroom. I'm replacing the insert with one that has the 'Bird on it, and polishing all of the scratches out of the taillight lenses..

I'm hoping to get it in the body shop next month, but we'll see how Mr. Wallet looks on that one.

So no 10 second Hondas were roaming the pits looking for slow-*** Pontiacs to beat up on eh? Damn, that's too bad! Lucky for you since you were "only" running 12.20s. How was the traction Jason? And what mph did you turn?

traction was ok once it warmed up a little... it was around 46-47 degrees when I left in the afternoon. I was still getting some wheel spin on the launch, but as soon as I left the launching pad traction was pretty decent.

Still turning about the same mph... high 113s to low 114s. I'm trying to figure out how I can get it to turn a little higher on the mph... don't know if an LSX intake would help, but it might.

Nitrous would help that too, so I'm still thinking about my next step.

I'd get a good set of heads, and maybe an LSX intake at the same time. Get that tuned up right then start on the safety stuff. (Bar, Belts,) That kinda stuff. THEN once all that is tuned and running the way you like get some giggle juice and let her fly!

Yeah, that me in the 10th

Best run was last run of the day around 2ish before I had to leave for the Tips game.
R/T: .060
60': 2.002
1/4: 12.960
MPH: 108.47

Not too shabby since I've only hit 12s a couple of times at PR previously If only I could get a little more traction out of those Nitto's.. I swear I'm going to put my street tires back on if I can figure out how to launch with these things!

Looks like you could hit 12.8 ish if you got some good traction. Do you go through the water box?

You should pick up 1-2 mph with the LSX. You have the CAI already, right? There isn't a lot left you can bolt on. A Mez water pump maybe. Or roller rocker arms. Although I could put your car in the 11s, even with you driving it. It's called POWER-SHIFTING! You shave 2/10ths that way. But you need the Ellis mod on the T56 first.

Not bad not bad at all.

Hey Ya should know me Jonathen I drive that white 3rd gen Camaro that pulls mid to high 14s. Wait I am the only one that drives a 3rd gen anymore with CCCA. Now that Lanna sold hers & the other guy moved to Japan.

Tammy, how could we forget you?

And yeah, I roasted the nitto's pretty good but I was spinning or bogging... Not much of a window to work with (and try to be consistent to boot!)

Yeah I hear ya on the power shifting... still haven't given that a try yet. I got the Shaun mod on the T56 just so I can prevent breakage should I decide to go for it...

I would have given it a try if I thought traction would hold on the shifts... but with traction being pretty iffy due to temp, I don't think powershifting would have helped a whole lot... I'm pretty sure it would have broken traction on each shift doing that, especially the 1-2 shift and probably the 2-3.
