Says on the site that the Koenigsegg engineers designed the engine.. Volvo is owned by Ford now, but I'm pretty sure this supercar isn't a Ford.

Look at the pics and read the article. That is definetly a Ford mod motor. Looks like it is a reworked 4.6, not a 5.4 though.

What's a NewtonMeter?

Impressive. About the same as Ryans turbo Camaro (0-60 in 2.9sec) or Todd Carpenters N/A Camaro (215mph top speed) but I'll bet it costs a lot more. Although with 800hp pushing 2500lbs, it aint hard to see why it runs like that. Still not sure I like that look.....

A newton meter is a joule. Which is a measure of energy IIRC, haven't taken physics in awhile.. And the top speed atained of that car was 241mph (388kph), and they say top speed is 390+. Just another toy nobody is ever going to be able to afford lol. But compared to the McLaren F1 it beats it and costs about the same.

One of my friends dads (she is damn fine) is the owner of the SSC car company. You can check out the supercar they are putting into production for I *think* 257,000. He lives here in Tri-cities and they have one of the Aeros sitting in his driveway right now. Check out www.sscautos.com if you want to see them. More specifically http://www.sscautos.com/specifications.asp .

Type: Aluminium Block and Heads (V-8)
Displacement: 378 cu.in./6187cc
Bore x Stroke: 3.898 x 4.00"
Compression Ratio: 9.2 to 1
Horsepower: 908 bhp @ 6600 rpm
Torque: 771 lb./ft. @ 5800 rpm
Redline: 7200 rpm
Fuel Injection: Electronic Sequential Port
Weight: 428 lbs
Oil: SAE 5W/30 Fully Synthetic Racing
Induction System: Sequential, multi-port fuel injection. Supercharger with .95 bar boost pressure (14 psi). Dual-forced air innercoolers.

0 to 60 mph: 2.94 seconds
1/4 mile: 10.44 seconds at 138 mph
Skidpad: 1.03 g
0 to 100 mph to 0: 11.66
60 mph to 0 (braking): 103 feet

Pretty badass, I didnt beleive her at first but then she showed me the site and more specifically the article about her dad owning the company, not too mention going to her house to look at it. Wow is all I could manage to get out of my mouth.
