I Blew It! After having a beer with Rick (@ Hooters! 
) yesterday, we jump on I 5 and fall in behind a Porche Turbo? Carrera & an Eagle Talon that seem to be playing with each other. So I make a few lane changes to catch up & the Porche accelerates away from us. I'm thinkin yeah baby, play time! 
So I get into the carpool lane & catch them. The Talon takes one look / listen at our car & falls back. Dang....he is stock looking tho. So I pull past the Carrera & let off & here he comes. WOO-HOO, fish on.
By now we're approaching the Evt Mall trying to get an opening with some space & on pulls a Typhoon. Not a stock one either. It's black with red stripes, lowered, got a Ryan-style exhaust tip (big, polished). He see us playing and he takes off up the right lane. I can hear his turbo clear over in the left lane. The Porche takes off after him, but I get hung in traffic.
Finally I get up behind the Typhoon, with the Porche to his right & about 10 cars up. I just get clear of the car to my right & nail it at about 70 & change lanes & have to hit the binders hard to not run over the Carrera. I'm thinking "Well now they KNOW I wanna play". And the wife is squealing!
But all of the sudden it's like a cop pulled into our little caravan. The Typhoon changes lanes & gets off in Everett. The Porche pulls into the left lane & hits his cruise control....no more speeding up & changing lanes....constant 70mph....acts like I'm not there anymore. WTF?

I hate it when that happens 
(Though I'm glad the story wasn't about what the title gave me the first impression of lol thought your motor or something took a

Well here is how f**ked up my thinking is, I first thought (after reading the title) that you got busted for DUI and had to blow in the breathalyzer.........:shakes head: Some day I will get rid of this cop mentality.

Last night I drove up to Bellingham. I see this Buick looking old-lady car coming up on me pretty fast, then he gets next to me and starts pacing me. I was like "what the hell is this guy doing." I have 5% tint and it was night so I couldn't see what kind of car it was, only the faint outline. He keeps jumping out in front of me and stuff. I normally don't street race because I drive like a ***** on the street, but I downshifted to third, got next to him, then hit it. I took him by a couple car lengths before my clutch started slipping... GRR. Tried 4th gear after that, same thing, at about 4k rpms just go up. Anyways, he then flies by me and over my loud *** exhaust I hear WHOOSH and I see that is a Grand National. Then he got off and I followed him to a gas station and we talked for a little bit. That was a pretty cool car.

Yeah Bobby, I was working hard to get that Porche to go, and then that modded Typhoon shows up & I was drooling at the thought. It looked VERY fast when he took off. Could have been fun....
As for the Hooters scene, I was doing OK until Ashley stopped over to chat.
