I knew I was missing something -- In fact Ellis sent me an email with the lifters I should get but my computer fried and I lost EVERYTHING last week. It has been a nightmare recovering everything...
Ellis if you still have a copy of that email, can you send it again please?
Thanks!

and why new lifters? I heard the factory ones were pretty stout. I ask because maybe I should be switching as well. I've bought some 241 castings and am going to do a little home porting and polishing until I can afford the TEA's. So while I have the heads off I can swap the lifters as well....if there is good reason to do so.

Reasons.
One? We are there. Two I don't want to go back in over a $200 set of lifters.
The "why do today what you can put off till tomorrow" Idea on LS1 lifters in not a game I like to play Now if we were not doing the heads I would roll with it.
Ryan Recently had to go back into his motor over this and i just felt it was not worth the risk. and added $200 now and no labor cost or roll the dice and have to pay twice for same job
Those are the main reasons
