Default Old School..AC/DC Family Jewels!

well I must admit I have never been the biggest fan..little did I know.

While cruisin' through the Store tonight I picked up the new AC/DC DVD set ($15.99 Freddy's) in Hopes of replacing the video's I lost when my trusty "Who Made Who" VHS was stolen. Thankfully yes the videos I wanted were there.

Much more to my Suprise was the first disk in the set.out of the twenty video's of the Austrailan group I Had been loving 19 for as long as I can remember! ALL of them cut between 1975 and 1979!

This is a must have set for anyone who remembers AC/DC before the death of Bon Scott in 1980. What he Broght to the stage and the original energizer bunny Angus do to the crowd is incredible! To see the Live shows they were doing before MTV was a thought is to much.

This may be just for the older people here but I loved it. Anyone who likes AC/DC should check it out. There are alot of memories right there on DVD.

OH YEAH during "Shake your foundatios" there is a ,Then , new Third gen parked out front Looks like it might even be a four banger!

I've been wanting to get this and now I'll have to pick it up during lunch or on the way home.

It's Bon Scott that died Ellis. Angus and Malcom Young are the brothers. Angus Bangus is a freak. I've never seen anybody with that much energy on stage.

I've seen these guys live around 5 times. Awesome show. They're still one of my favorite all time bands. I thought nobody could replace Bon when he died but Brian Johnson did one hell of a job and still does.

It's a Great DVD set! I've been an AC/DC fan since about 1980 and it's great seeing them on Stage Performing. I'm surprised Angus doesn't have any head injuries after all that headbanging!

Have you heard him talk lately. All that head banging definately had an effect. I guess all the rock star partying probably helped that out too.

Highway to Hell was my second album owned. KISS Destroyer was my first.

I'm going up to Freddy's on Capital Hill to get this today.

The Kiss double platinum was my first. Bought it from Kmart with "my own" money and I played it on a fisher price record player. I guess I was 8 or 9 My uncle had AC/DC though and I remember always messing up and misunderstanding the words on "Dirty Deeds".

I had some panasonic thing I played my vinyl on at first too. The records were bigger than it was.

Then I stepped up to a "turntable" just about like this one.

I still have that thing packed away somewhere too. I remember bitching at my friends to leave it alone cuz the stylus' were 20 bucks. That was a shitload back in the late 70's and early 80's. Ahhh, the old days!

I always have the Glock with me! That's what CWP's are for.

I go up there a lot to eat lunch. It's not that bad. Mostly a bunch of walking around hand in hand during the day. Night time might be a different story.

haha! This is so me! I was the baby until Charlotte (and she doesnt really count since she is younger than MY kid!) ... and Ellis and I shared a room for a couple years. He is 10 yrs older than me ... and the closest in age any of my siblings are is 7 years.

I grew up listening to what Ellis did, and to what my mom and dad did, so I have a wide preference in music, but it all seems strange when you think of my age! lol

I looked for it yesterday at the PX. SOLD OUT IN ONE DAY! They don't know when or if they are getting anymore, I'll keep checking.

And Ellis!!!!! you had me looking confused for a moment. Scott Young? I thought there must have been a year when I missed someone joined, od', and was replaced...again

So what am I supposed to do with their entire collection on individual CDs? I replaced vinyl for cassette for CD - it never ends.

Not until the PX or NX stocks them again and I replace the player (rat ****, now it won't read a CD). Then it will be all better

Pull dash. Clean out. Make sure locktite is close by.
