Default For Sale: 1970 1/2 Camaro RS

I've decided I'm going to sale my 1st camaro I bought. I know I may regret this later in life, but the car has been a lot of fun. I feel that this car deserves better, rather than sitting in the garage collecting dust. In the past 5 years, I've put maybe 3000 miles on the car including the 800 mile drive here to Washington from Idaho last summer.

1970 1/2 Camaro Rally Sport
Red w/ black Z28 stripes
mildly built 350 w/ TH350
This car is a terrific car

$13,000 OBO

Your nuts selling that car unless you really need the money.

I've seen the car its nice, would make someone a great driver or collector, 2nd gens are really going up in value and the 70-73 are the most sought after..I'll never sell my 73 SD unless I was hella broke.

Thanks for the compliment (nuts) Bobby. I'm starting to get to many toys and would really like to see this go to a good home where she will be more appriciated than sitting in the garage. If not she will still sit there collecting dust.

Sorry to hear that you're selling your car, it looks pretty sweet If I didn't already have one I might consider it. The prices on these cars, particularly the R/S's and Z28's, are going up every year. When I first bought mine as a non-running, rusted out basket case about 12 years ago they weren't worth much at all. Even the restored #'s matching versions. You won't have ANY problem selling it. Everytime I take mine to the track somebody asks me if I'm interested in selling it. One day at the track last year I had 4 differant people ask me if I wanted to sell it ... including one offer for 18k from a guy who only looked at it for about 1 minute. That's pretty good for a car that's a long ways from being "done" .

Good luck with the sale.

Default Nice, Nice, Nice

Its kinda hard for me to be here since i sold my precious 19701/2 camaro rally sport bone stock daytona yellow solid color "no black stripes or spoiler", so long ago. I still have dreams about it. I bought it in 1979 from my boss, i was a teller at home savings and loan in burien,wa. it was $2000. I took out a $1000 loan from seattle trust and saving's paying $78 a month to them, and i paid my boss Jordy $78 a month directly to him for the other thousand. back in the day before reagan deregged the banks savings and loans only did certain things and trust and savings did the other. Anyway i sold it in 1980 during the oil embargo, i freaked out when gas hit a dollar a gallon "lol. Sold it to a collector in tacoma wa, he said take off the cragar SS rims and put the rally rims back on and you can keep the cragar ss rims, i sold it for $2000. i have seen similiar cars go for around $30,000 to $40,000 now "ouch" I have a polaroid of it somewhere "need to find that" Im posting a close example pics of my car, no spoiler or ugly black stripes on mine though. Why does chevy put those ugly racing stripes on cars it looks god awful, "jmho" Yours Truly Jon
Robbins.

Lol... Thanks for the clarification on that! Actually, I thought you traded it for the dragster?

Close Mike and pretty much the same thing, but yeah that was 08. Sold the car to a guy in Boise and on the same day bought the dragster from a friend here in Vancouver.

Brian - I've got a deal for you........ interested in a 1962 Impala SS (big enough for the kids) with a 409 dual quad 4 speed rock crusher.
