I'll be there Ken, but on the new toy. I'm still waiting on my heads at the machine shop. Gates open @ 6 pm. $20 gate fee $10 annual number fee. If you stop at any of the Portland/Vancouver Les Schwabs and pick up a coupon, it saves you $2 @ the gate for racers or spectators.

Cool I will be there about 6 then. Screw the clutch break in, break it in properly by racing it or at least go drive it for another 200 miles so you can run it tomorrow night!

Cody what is the new toy?

Anyone bringing a digi camera?

Ken

My wife will be there and we will bring the camera. I bought the wife a new bike, but she doesn't have her endorsement yet, so I get to play on it. I still have my bike. We bought an 05 GSXR 1000.

Yea I'll bring an extra helmet. Unfortunately I've already tried (trading) and she won't go for it. I've seen the V-8 harleys before, but I've heard that they now have one with an LS1 in it.

They don't check for them, I shouldn't say that cause they probably will, but I've been to woodburn and PIR a crap load of times and they never look under the car.

They do look

make sure your battery is tied down although mine really wasn't and I got by with a little enginuity (too bad I can't spell it )

They will check your helmet and that is really about it. I don't think your car is going to break into the 11's but once you get there then they start going all boss hog on your ***.

Hmmmmm. I'm dieing to get it to the track as well but honestly for the $978 delivered for the clutch I'm gonna break it in right. I need a helmet as well. Its just not the right time for me unfortunately. But I'm getting closer.

Talked to many of the boss hoss owners.

Two things.

They are heavy and they eat transmissions on a regular basis

Default Ya know...

I was thinking about going there myself all day long at work today. I had decided maybe I couldn't afford it, but since y'all are goin' I want to go really bad now. So, I guess I'll see y'all tomorrow night. Yahoo!!
Gonna have to take it easy on the clutch, though. It's been actin' kinda funny since the last time I went to the strip. I wanna try different launching techniques anyways.
On the DS loop thing. I don't think they get outta whack until you start runnin' too low of times, or if you're not runnin' street tires. I installed one, just in case, and when I told the inspector, he/she didn't seem to care.
Look forward to gettin' Betty, (my car) all gussied up and headin' on up there.
See ya guys there. Can't miss Betty. Attached a pic.

Don't worry about the loop. If they ask if you have been there before, just say "yup". If you need a helmet, I have another that you can borrow.

I got one run in (12.4 @ 109.75 in a Mustang) before it started raining

I saw the "Rockin C Racing" truck out there... I guess I should say hello one of these times.

Default Yup.

I didn't see Rockin' C, I was lookin' for 'im.
Visceral, I was in the blue GTO. You can say hi next time. I won't bite, (hard.) The way my runs were going tonight, I wouldn't have beaten you racing either. Uh,, never mind. I never run anywhere lower than mid 13s anyways. I couldn't get lower than 14.0 tonight. I don't know why, probably conditions at the track. Did it seem slow to you tonight? One of the guys in a Corvette was saying that his trap speed was way lower than normal too. Oh, well, more practice.

Maximental - I saw you there, but by the time I saw your car, you were pulling up to the water box.
