What is this carb thing you speak of? I believe I saw drawings of one on a wall in a cave when I was a youngster, but cant honestly say I've ever seen one up close

I know, but some of us still have dinosaurs in the garage.

This is actually for the vette that traps 140+ on a 16+ second quarter pass.

Well, this guys kind of delusional about his cars performance. I'll take him for an eye opener in the formy on the I-5 cloverleaf by my house next time he's over.

Just make sure you tell him you have the slower 6 cyl version, but your buddy has a red V8 if he wasnts to ride in a fast one.

The CAR may be faster, but the driver surely isn't.

I do that, but I use the 236th onramp as a dragstrip then hit the exit to the end of the esses, but take a left at the county line light and go under the freeway, then get on the loop going northbound, dont get on the freeway though, instead hit the offramp loop, go under the freeway again, hit the loop to take you southbound I-5, rip up I-5 looking for somebody to race. sometimes I go to 145th, sometimes northgate, northgates got funner ramps than 145th so I usually go there and then head back. but I'll do that for around an hour. Kinda hard on the tires.

How old of a vehicle is this carb for? I have one from an 84 Camaro that has all the smog/electrical connections. I can look tonight and see if I have any of the other older quadrajet carbs. I do have a Carter AFB that I could depart with.
