Default The Stroker Swap Begins

The project is finally under way. I'm out at Ellis's right now tearing the top of the engine off (valve covers, intake, etc). My goal today is to get all the stuff off the motor so we can yank if Friday. I forgot my camera so I'll hve to post pics later.

I'm surprised.....my car has been at ELlis's for almost a day & I still have a radiator cap!

Crap, I knew I should have taken it with me.

The motor is almost ready to pull. Gotta finish taking the headers off (I forgot my sazall at home) and remove the PS pump (figured it would be easier to take the pulley off while it was attached to the motor). Then all that's left is the tranny & motor mounts. Not a bad days work. I'll post some pics tomorrow.....

That looks tooooooo sweeeeeet, Mark. I like. Those red valve covers will look good under your hood and turn heads at the shows (no pun intended).

the new bullit is now sitting in its new home All bolted down in place. we were held up by a bad bearing in the alt. As many of you know it is like the First thing that needs to be bolted on the engine

Mark should be posting up in the Am!

OUCH, EVEN MY FINGER TIPS HURT THIS MORNING.....

We made good progress yesterday. And only lost 1 finger....well, almost. As Ellis said, the motor is bolted in (motor mounts & tranny) the headers were hung by the stroker with care....um, sorry, different story. And if we hadn't encountered the alt bearing the front of the motor would be done too. With luck it should fire today. Open headers of course!!!!
