From what I saw when I was looking, Everett is kinda sketchy...some decent places, some really places.

You really need to check out the areas in the daylight AND at night to get a good feel for it IMHO.

I heard Lake Stevens is nice, lil cheaper as well.

Might also wanna get several addresses/areas that you are interested in, then go by Everett PD/Snohomish County Sheriff's Office for Everett and ask them about those areas. The desk officer probably won't try to shoot you for interrupting his hectic day of answering phones and dealing with lunatics.

tryin to stay closer to base. i think i found a place just off of 164th almost to hwy 99. i think thats right it's the exit past the rest stop

128th is the Exit right past the rest stop. I have a friend that lives in that area and he likes it. Traffic kinda sucks, though.

at you all and your complaining about traffic. Go live/work in L.A. for 5 or 10 years and then get back to me. I remember everyone on this board telling me...."Don't move up here if you are trying to avoid bad traffic" and me (having been here over 15x in the course of 4 years) about it given the diff between here & L.A.
