Default Bird knocked out of flight :( (56k beware - added more pics)

This morning on my way to work some lady in a suzuki SUV decided to turn left in front of me. I didn't have time to stop and slammed on the brakes as best I could but wasn't enough. Went to the ER and got checked out and just a lil bruised.

(Edited-I fixed the links for you, Ryan K.)

server's being dumb but yeah they're there. She failed to yield and got a citation. We'll see how much money I get... car's not paid off yet so don't know if it'll be enough for a new GTO unless I can get some money for med stuff.

Any advice?

Well ... maybe you could get a nice '01 WS6 . Sorry about your car, glad that you're ok though. That IS the most important thing by far.

Do you have Gap INS?..Hope her Policy does right by you....Used 04s or even left over 05s GTOs should be pretty easy to find and not too expensive.

Yeah I have gap coverage luckily. we'll see how her insurance does... anyone dealt with Pemco before? I'm with progressive myself.

Sorry about that man. Did you have a passenger with you? Why'd the passenger airbag deploy? Or does it not switch off?

Ouch, looks like it hurt a bit. Best wishes on recovery. The only advice I would give would be to contact a lawyer so you dont get hosed. Neck and back injuries dont always show up right away either. She was cited so its straight forward as to who is at fault. A lawyer could tell you what your options are. You want to get total medical coverage and replacement on the vehicle at least, then there is pain and suffering. Is that your head that hit the passenger side? Did you have you seat belt on? (if it were me I'd sue the crap out of her). Looks like she hit you just about head on.

Ouch! Josh I'm sorry about your car but glad you are ok. If you had to go to the ER then I'm sure you would be able to get a minimum of $5k for injuries.. They don't want to have that liability fall into the hands of a lawyer, so they will settle for what you say I bet.

5k With what his head and neck went through.. I'd say a lot higher than that. Get a lawyer, she almost killed you. You should walk away with some good cash here.

Ouch, dude... that sucks *****! I'm glad you made it out okay.. the car, however... I hate to say it, but I'm guessing that it's gonna be a total. That's at least $8K worth of damage easily.

The big thing is that you're still here and relatively unharmed.. the car can be replaced.. Sorry to see another F-body go down, though.

Passenger side airbag blew out the windsheild on the passenger side. Very typical in an F-body. His injuries are probably from being popped in the face by the driver's airbag when it went off.
