That 4 point isn't legal for NHRA 11.499 and faster though right?

I think you need to make it a 5pt (up the drivers side)

pretty sure it's legal for anything a 4pt is good for.

Any idea on how much the autopower roll bars weigh?? I bought my SS with a roll bar already installed, and I'm wondering how much it weighs . . . Not sure if it's the race or street version, but it has the crossbar like the one shown on the left above.

Thanks!

You can buy a weld in Art Morrison for pretty cheap (like $200-$300). And they are a great kit. A few guys here have this kit installed by Don. (NWDragRacer) Just some info...

No, and since AutoPower uses the thinner .120 tubing, it will not likely pass the minimum .118 thickness test since any bends will thin it out. Most everyone uses .134 to make sure they pass the thickness testing.

Probably not an issue unless you plan on competing in NHRA sponsored events like the National Open series or a divisional or national event where you get a "real" NHRA tech inspection.

That depends on how much work is involved. Their website says "No Welding" to install so they should be pretty complete. We would have to add door bars to make them NHRA legal.

Rough guess - $300-$400 to install.
