Any South Dakota members? I'm from SD but am now stationed down in TX. Was wondering what, if any members are on the board for SD. Grew up in Rapid but also spent alot of time in the Souix Falls area.

I live near Humboldt which is 15 miles from Sioux Falls. I worked a little bit during the last summer at Thunder Valley Dragways as the starter(until I find a real job). The only real scene in SD is just at the track, otherwise its just a bunch of Honda drivers that like to stand in a parking lot and talk about how "fast" there cars are but no one street races and only a few of them will run on the track.

Same in Yankton. All the little ricers think their cars are king ****, but are really slow. I had some kid in a Acura 4-door the other day, say that he could blow my doors off. Im 23 lived here since 97. Only thing going on around here is drinking beer, and going to Thunder Valley in Marion in the Summer.

I got my camaro last march, and didn't take it to Marion last summer. I did go to highschool days and watch the races. This summer I will be there with my car. I drive a black 2002 z-28 w/ t-tops and 7-county plates. The guy I usually go to the races with has a yellow 87 Iroc-Z t-top. We will be up there running our cars to see what times they actually do.

Check sig for link to Thunder Valley's website. I dont even know if I will still be working there or not this year. I still havent got a call from the track manager and I dont have his number. Oh well then I can acctually run out there then. I cant wait for the track to open Im getting sick of this snow even though I ice fish and snowmobile.

The traction wasnt that great with the track sitting all winter. Saturday was pretty bad because of all the ricers witht here street tired cars. Today was a lot better. There were several single digit times. I hope to see that out there this year. Ill be there every race (right at the starting line) until I get a car to race.

hey blk 85 there is a wrecked pewter ws6 with 21,xxx miles out west of canton exit, its a 6 speed, leather interior and t tops i do believe, its for sale out at that rebuilder place just thought ud like to know since ur lookin

no link, but the front end is pretty bad, the passenger side skirt, and the rear bumper has a tear. ill try and get some pics tonight for ya and hopefully a price if anyone is around. i might have them up for you tomorrow???
