We kept everything! And the SRT8 Magnums run around $15k more than we paid for this.

Sweet car! I do like the way those look, very mean looking, and something like 30mpg on highway with the automatic and selective cylinders or whatever right?

Ok Mark, you're gonna have to run through the list because I can't keep up. What's your current tow rig now?

You want an instant xtra 26hp on a mustang dyno? Replace that exuast and get a cold air intake. Was at Toms shop a month or so ago and he had a customer with a brand new charger. Did a baseline and then repaced the exuast with magnaflows I believe and a cold air intake. On the second run it showed a 26 hp improvement. The first run showed like 15hp but was still re-mapping, you could see it in the a/f and torque readings. My guess is it picked up even a little more futher down the road as well. Great results you could clearly see. Also the new exaust cuts about 20 extra pounds off the factory one.

I am envious, Mark. It really does look good. I have seen a few of those on the dealer lots lately. I like the color scheme too.

Linda has not been very happy driving the Saturn (in spite of what she says) and she had been drooling over these ever since they came out. So I figured now that she is back to work (& making more $ than she was) that it was time we went crazy for something she wanted.

These are actually VERY nice cars. The drive like a GTO for power & comfort, but have a little more flash (you know us). They also have a back seat you can get into, plus a real trunk. When you youngsters get old like me you'll understand. And like I've been saying, Lynnwood Dodge is selling them for UNDER MSRP! You'd have to go to that guy in Idaho to get this price. We paid $31k - MSRP was $35, final sticker was 40. Up here in Smokey Point they are $47k!!!

RTs have the 5.7L, SRTs have the 6.1L. The Daytonas are actually cheaper than a regular RT Charger for some reason. And the Magnums are more $ yet for similar trim. The brocure Dodge sent Linda shows a red Daytona.....the dealer knew nothing about them, but I'd guess they'll be available soon (for full list of course). Personally, I like the look of the yellow ones. Although they MIGHT be making purple ones at some point.

Anyway, Linda now has the car she wanted. Peace is restored.
