Default Thanks Ellis!

What a difference a clutch makes. I cannot believe how quickly this LS7 clutch engages. She breaks the tires loose a whole lot easier too. In second gear at 3k rpms and you nail it they start spinning also. It truly feels much quicker down low. I am surprised at how much stiffer the pedal is or I was too use to the old one. Thanks again!

How much did the clutch kit cost and does it include the flywheel and everything?

I put one in my Vette, didn't think it was any stiffer than stock.

Yours was not the LS6 clutch so that may be the difference. I do love this thing now! As for the kit you can PM me for a good deal that includes a new LS6 slave and pilot bearings too for the above mentioned price.

I think I might trade it for that blue one on the right.

My right or yours? Cuz the 2nd from the left would be a better trade

I remember dropping a superT in the 68'. You had to have some serious left leg power to shift the damn thing but it didn't take long to pull a full lap over everyone else.

Eric! Is it stiffer or the same as the old one? You going to be sore from commuting the first couple of days?
yep, I'm wide open on that question but I need to know

You should know by now most of us are walking stiffs!! To clarify, this clutch is not a HEAVY clutch, just more than what the stock one was. It definitely grabs way quicker like Ellis said it would. She accellerates harder too. At least down low. Will let you know how it does at the track after Tuesday.

PS. - I put on the new Toyo T1R's yesterday and boy do they grab! These are the equivalent of the Nitto 555II road race tires. Put 275's front and 305's rear. Only thing I did not think about is how they also pick up every spec of dirt on the road like a vacuum and throws it on the car.
