Default Road Kill

I may or may not have been on 520 last night coming home from work when a Mustang started coming up behind me pretty fast. As he approached I flipped the nitrous on and just about as he got to my rear fender I may have punched it . He gave chase and we may or may not have had it up to 130 when we started coming up to traffic, so I backed off a bit. But as I did he got into the open HOV lane and the car in front of me moved over so I may or may not have burried the hammer again . He never did see the front of my car until I got behind someone who just REFUSED to make way .

That may or may not have been an adrenaline commute home from work!

It was funny because I had the toneau cover on and it did not get nearly as noisey at higher speeds than it does when I don't have it with me. I would have expected it to rattle and vibrate a little but it stayed in place and seemed to cut down on resistance.

A friend and I were on a trip to the US Nationals in 2001 in my '00 Z28 'Vert. Early one morning, with the top down,in eastern Montana, I topped a rise and could see the road come to a point on the horizon. I pushed the accel button on the cruise and held it until 140. We were on crusie for 15 or 20 minutes at that speed. Inside the car you could barely tell unless you put your hand in the wind stream.

FYI-Law allows for nitrous systems as long as they are disconnected or the tanks removed when the vehicle is being driven on a public road.

But **** the law! Never been in a nitrous car myself. One of you will have to take me for a juice ride. (That is in a closed area with a professional driver of coarse!)

Actually I have not seen that in the RCWs. I did a search a while back and found NOTHING regarding the use of n2o on the streets.

Really? Then again there is really no point to ban it as its used at WOT which is 'exhibition of speed' or 'reckless driving/endangerment'. I thinking I may add a little spray (150-200) to my project just in case I run against some insane car. And I just 'may' use it...

Well I spent the last hr being productive at work and could not find any RCW on nitrous. However I did find this:
RCW 46.61.665
Embracing another while driving.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle upon the highways of this state when such person has in his or her embrace another person which prevents the free and unhampered operation of such vehicle. Operation of a motor vehicle in violation of this section is prima facie evidence of reckless driving.

So holding hands in a vehicle is reckless driving as well as other things...

I remember we went over this last year and came up with no laws about running with it open. Just wish we could look back and still have that topic...

There is nothing about "other things" so it makes me wonder: would getting a hummer while driving be considered "embraced"?

I wanna get "embraced"!

Well as long as her hands aren't bracing you it should be fine? But I have heard that oral is illegal?

I'm getting a little out of line...

So when am I going for a juice ride?

All this talk of holding body parts while driving and getting juiced, I just thought you meant ... something else.

I will take anyone for a ride though.

What if you ride to work in a hummer everyday and it has juice?

On second thought... never mind... way too many interpretations in that for this crowd!

I think MOST cops would be so impressed with your 'Hummer' that you'd 'get off' Cory.

None of that has anything to do with your 2nd sentence of course.

As for spryaing a poor defenseless Stang, you should be ashamed....everyone knows there aren't any fast ones in this area.....
