I had a great time and it was fun meeting some new faces. The drive with the mcleod twin disc and those shifter issues made the drive in traffic less than fun..........but it was a good day none the less.

I am in dyer need of some more tuning. So I'm going to need to dial that in somehow. The car made some decent numbers, but the consistancy wasnt like I would have liked it. And it should have plain and simply made more power..........

Till next time this will have to do!!
I will give you the hp spot, but I take the torque spot. I want a rematch.

Lets get some tuning done.............then hit the dyno again! You will have the advantage of dual staging me (maybe tripple), but I have more power to start with.................so that is my advantage.

Game on mo fo!!!!

Oh wait..........****!!!! Cindy has to go to school! That means I can't buy a new dual stage system or a new motor.

I made three pulls

1st 659.5hp/625 Tq (Actual) 642.4/608.8tq (SAE) This run was odd, cause it didn't start logging till very late in the pull.

2nd 671.4hp/758.1tq (Actual) 653.6hp/738.2tq (SAE) Good Clean pull

3rd 665.5hp/802.6tq (Actual) 648.2hp/781.7tq (SAE) Brake Boosting for the Tq!

Those are some great videos! Jon, you remember when we used to kid around about how close we were in our 1/4 mile runs? Yeah...those were the days. You got some nice numbers. If I end up moving back out that way (might take a reserve position at McChord), nitrous is definitely in the plans. But I don't see myself ever catching up to any of you guys. I'll shoot for my measly high 11's. Once again, badass videos and you all put out some crazy #'s.

DAMN!! Looks like I will be hard pressed to hold the number 4 spot in the top ten much less shoot for the number one spot!

Great job everyone! Damn nice numbers! Wish I could have been there. As it is I have so much to do this week I am not sure I will even get time to finish tuning my own car to go play

That is crazy!

Thanks for sharing. I didn't get any actual numbers. All the ones I remember seeing were SAE.

Thanks for the help Ryan.

Doesn't matter much for what we were doing. All the cars were in the same place on the same day, so as long as everyone uses one or the other, they will be compareable. My actuall was 637.4 & 778.9, SAE was 618 & 761 (I think).

And I always give props to the better car Ryan, so deal with it....and your 1st run looks odd cuz you blew the tires away.

Here is a comparison sheet of my car vs Ryans. Pretty interesting how close they are not only in numbers but curves.

OK, so lets make a list shall we? Post up your actual & SAE (or whatever you have)

1 - Ryan - 671, 802 actual, 648, 782 SAE
2 - Mark - 637, 779 actual, 618, 760 SAE
3 - Jon - 559, 578 SAE
4 - Robert - 550, 636 actual
5 - Perry - 490, 462 SAE
6 - Stan - 463, 461
7 - Doug - 405, 463
8 - Darrell - 360rwhp, 345rwtq*
9 - Rick - 332, 345

I'll try to add them all to the 1st post after I collect them. And the numbers need to both come from your "best" run. No mixing...(I hit 660+ hp on 1 early aborted run)

Tell me your real numbers & I will post them (since that is NOT what you said above...)

Also, everyone tell me your basic mods & I'll include them in another post I'm putting up.

550rwhp and 636 torque, actual. My mods are dual stage dry (235rwhp) and a Vararam CAI, that's it.
Robert

Edit: Here's the sheet. Some hp was left on the table once the 2nd stage kicked in and went way rich. Next time we will be ready and 3rd stage wet will be adding another 50rwhp, then I can get into the 600hp club (or be ready for a forged bottom end-Ellis).

By the way, I want to thank Ryan for guiding me in tune fine adjustments, as having a more advanced tuner is allways a plus when making changes. It's was a great day for sure, with great company. A lot of nice cars showed. Too bad the GT 500 didn't dyno, but hey, this was a GM dominated day, so...

Mark, thanks for organizing the Dyno day, and thanks EJ and Mike for the hospitality!

Good to meet some of you and watch some powerful cars run!

My numbers, SAE corrected were a meager 490rwhp/462rwtq. I was rather disappointed as I was looking for around 540/510.

Mods are: 427CI, LS7 top end, cam (229/237 .621/.639 113 LSA), Kooks headers with cats, Borla cat-back exhaust.

First time on the dyno with this motor so still some more work to do.

Need to have Ellis get a Speed Secrets tune to pull the remaining power out of the motor.

Perry

It was a lot of fun having all those different cars shwo up & getting to meet all the people. I was bummed not to get to stay & watch your car Perry, or Roberts. But when momma calls, I come-a-runnin.....

I never seem to get quite what I want out of any setup. I wanted to hit 650 yesterday, but my SAE #s were well short of that. I guess I could try playing games to get better #s, but I'm mostly dynoing to find out what each of my mods did. The track times next weekend are what I' really focused on. That said, Ellis can work some magic with his tunes. He certainly helps me with mine!!!
