Default SOLD: Kooks Long Tubes (catted) new for 2004 GTO

Looks like these are SOLD to Pat

looks like I might be getting screwed by a retailer

I ordered Headers for a 2005 GTO
and received headers for a 2004

I am having alot of trouble contacting them (they won't return my phone calls) I am only getting responses (very slow ones at that) by email

they have been unclear as to wether or not they will pay for shipping on the wrong headers
I've been trying to get ahold of them for almost 2 weeks (since I figured out they were for the wrong car)

they are NEW
never installed, or even test fit.
they are the 1-3/4" staneless steel
with Catted Connecting pipes
http://ls2gto.com/forums/showthread....95#post2064995

they retail for:
$912.70 for headers
$420.00 for catted pipes
Total $1332.70 + shipping

Make me an offer

they are currently in Monroe, Wa (at speed secrets)
I live in Bremerton, Wa
and I travel to Roseberg, Or every month

I can deliver anywhere near by

Russ

I know someone said it on the other board but if you are getting a full refund minus shipping, then unless shipping is horrendous, I would go that route....unless someone steps up to offer right around full price. Either way, good luck and I hope it gets resolved soon for ya.

Or perhaps talk ot kooks about just changing out the mid pipe if that is the only difference as someone noted.

I had to go to Edelbrock to get some parts that were missing from my Vic Jr intake when Straightline Performance started blowing smoke up my *** about taking care of it. Edelbrock fixed in 3-4 days what Straightline didn't do for a month.

In your case you might be able to ship your mid pipe back to kooks for less than the other options. Worth checking out.

Russ, I replied over on LS1gto, but I'll state it here that I'm interested. I was planning on those exact headers for my spring upgrade and was going to have Ellis do the work anyhow, so they wouldn't have to go anywhere.

Let me know,
Pat

If a retailer is being a douche, don't be afraid to call them out on the board. If they made the mistake then they should fix it. If they don't, then letting everyone know will help others from getting screwed by the same people.

I'm waiting to give them a chance to fix the problem

I know it's the holidays, but I'm out over $1200

Check your PMs. If I'm understanding your terms correctly, then we have a deal. I've just PM'd Ellis as well asking how soon he could fit my car into his busy schedule and what the install will run.
