Default Poor Little 5.0

Just got home from Everett Mall. Had to buy a new vaccum. Why does **** always break around christmas time??? Anyway I had just washed the Camaro so decided to take it for a cruise, On the way home to Monroe on Hiway 2, I was being trailed by a 5.0 Rustang. I was leaving quite a bit room between me and the car in front of me. All the sudden I look in my mirror and see the 5.0 trying to pass me!!! The guy barely got to my quarter panel when I nail it. Needless to say he was shitting his pants when I blew in front by 4 to 5 car lengths in a matter of seconds. Wasn't really a kill but it sure was fun. God I love my car and hate the weather in the NW. Would like to be driving the car more often but our weather sucks!!! Happy new year everyone!!

Well I know it wasnt a white LX hatch with black interior.

And shame on you Doug, picking on a poor defenseless little 5-0.

It was priceless, I was riding along spacing off, when all of a sudden Doug hits it I'm thinking WTF???

I look around and out the back window and I see the crappy little rustang, (sorry mustang lovers but it was a beat POS) The guys mouth was hanging open I couldn't tell if he was laughing or in shock!

Damn Doug, you KNOW those poor Blue Oval cars can't hang with us....for shame!

Flame suit on

And with any luck, the next time my slug hits the streets it will be back to it's old self, & I will find myself next to that black Stage 3 again.

No offense taken. Cool that you guys showed him what an LS1 can do (and when it comes to what an LS1 can do that car ROCKS). I bet before that he thought his piddly little 200 rwhp was the ****. Poor bastid.

Yeah, I guess I better get a Camaro or I won't win any races.... I really like the later model Camaroes. Too bad they don't have more power. Everyone is always adding nitrous, superchargers and turbos... Oh well, I guess that's one way to get them to go

I've got to keep you guys centered.

Don did my cage John.....as for your Camaro comment, I can't remember how many cam + bolt-on Mustangs I saw last year running low 12s? I saw some with blowers running that fast. I even saw some with built motors or FI running 11s. But I can't recall ANY street cars running low 10s.

Flame suit back on....Happy New Year my friend

Nebraska is playing now Mark... What are you doing on line?

No one's taking this issue too seriously. Besides, I really like that blue car, always have.

I wasn't being serious, just my normal smart-*** flipping you Ford guys ****. You know I love the comradare we have between all these different cars/people.

And I'm watching the game. I'm also out here in the garage installing the relay box I just finished building to switch between Mega Squirt & the factory PCM.

I remember seeing a 5.0 with a stock motor and a little turbo running low 11s with a fair amount left in it.

Oh and I did see a decently fast street driven red 93 cobra. But all he could muster is 9.00s on drag radials. Not much to write home about.
