Anyone go to the kent races?
Just curious. I went a couple nights ago and it was decent. I try to stay away but every once in awhile i just have to show up and get a couple runs in.
There was a real clean goat and what looked like a brand new stang gt the other night, btw.

Ya the times I've been there was really risking it. But i have to admit it was a real adrenalin rush for me. I don't know if I'll go back though. Had to many close calls with stupid drivers there. Plus the times I went I was one of the fastest cars there which i think is pretty pathetic when i should be only in the 14's somewhere.

No problem dude... That is the reason why i don't think i will ever go there again. It's also the worst orginized street racing seen I've ever been to.

I have a couple rigs lined up for you. Once the weather cooperates I will be in contact.

Kent used to be good, but not anymore. I don't waste my time down there anymore. They used to be pretty organized when I was down there regularly a few years ago but once people started being idiots and started tryin to "be cool" and be showoffs down there instead of just going to the tracks and racing is when the problems started. Back in 2001 I used to go down there every fri/sat night in my old thunderbird. Only place I go close to kent anymore is down to auburn to PR. Kent's not worth the tickets or risk of getting car-jacked. (which has happened plenty of times down there at the races)

True that. Although there are organized gigs.
