Default Pix: AVIC-D3 in a Hummer H2

Some techno gadget fun stuff... Just got everything hooked up and working nice, with OEM steering wheel controls. This is really a fun system!! Great NAV, iPod videos, game console input, 17" widescreen rear LCD, and the front/rear screens can watch the same or 2 different things. Just need a trailer for the Z06 and will be ready to roll...

Dude, that looks sick! I've got to see that in person.........

I heard you can hook up gauges to be monitored through that setup.......is that true?

Did you say it was fully integrated into the Stock steering controls? running Stock speakers and more? I bet it is great for backing up on a trailer hitch

GOT to be cheaper then the Caddy system i have had my eye on

I've been considering putting one of those in my pickup when I start the frame off restoration/modification.

Thanks for the comments - I really didn't like the factory radio lol.

Yes the factory steering controls are programmed into an adapter. They have a few different ones. Another adapter goes in to keep the OnStar and door chimes. I kept the factory speakers and they sound alot better now!

Steering wheel control interface: Assign the buttons on the steering wheel to any of the 9 specific Pioneer functions. Volume Up, Volume Down, Mute, Track Up, Track Down, Source, Preset Up, Preset Down and Band.

979 for the Nav + camera from Crutchfield.com, 499 for the LCD from Overstock.com, and a couple hundred for adapters, cables, and ext warranty.

Aww man someone got in the H2 last night and took it all! Also busted up the dash. It sure sux to have all that hard work get ruined...

There is no sign of forced entry, and the wife thinks maybe she forgot to lock it up last night. I hope their johnson falls off! May the lords of pimped hummers punish them heavily!

God I hate that feeling. Even getting something cheap stolen is a bad feeling, I can't imagine how much rage I would have if I were you.

Had that happen once with ours. Forgot to lock it one night and the next morning everything was cleaned out. They didn't break anything going after the stereo etc... but they took a bunch of CD's and DVD's plus the Hummer specific survival kit... I feel your pain.

Yeah its frustrating alright! Something weird about this. Last night about 8:45, some salesman dude came to our door, selling insect control services. He asked me like 10 questions about the H2, saying how cool it was. Things like: what year is it and how's the mileage? He seemed real interested, but I'm kinda used to that. What sucks is I can't prove anything if I see him back around again. I'm thinking about a surveillance camera with recording for my driveway... Oh and I didn't buy the pest control. Maybe he's the real pest!?!

The guy I busted a month or two back would go to places to look for things to rip off, if someone confronted him he put on a show that he was wanting to sell some tools and ask some general questions about the business, hours, how much stuff going in and out and stuff like that. After I busted him the UPS driver came back and said the police were returning some of the stuff he took. Week later a detective came by and wanted to verify my story and I asked him how much he stole, and he said from what they know of it is near 15k worth of stuff, all from businesses he stopped by a day or two earlier and asked questions at.
