Default Which wheel?

Trying to decide between two different wheels, and I'm kinda stumped... These are the two I'm trying to decide between...

Torq Thrust M in anthricite...

or

Torq Thrust 2 painted charcoal metallic...

Personally, I like the 2nd wheel better, but it's almost radically more expensive... so it's a tough choice. I could get the TTMs for like $700-1000 less, but I think the TT2s look waaay better.

I'm gonna say TT2 on a purple car... but I'd go darker yet... se if they could put a hint of bronze in the paint maybe.

They're not, they're 17x9.5 front, 17x11 rear. I talked to the owner.

I suggest getting the ones you like the best (not based on price) otherwise you'll end up buying them anyways and be wasting money on the first set that you settled on.

The second ones are sharp... Not sure if it's just the pictures, but it seems like there's more contrast and really stands out looking distinguished.

That's just my opinion but I'm sticking with it

Yes, the color of the second wheel is a bit darker than the first wheel... I actually got to see them in person on two cars that were parked near each other over the weekend. I like the 2nd wheel better but it's also going to cost close to $1000 more than the first wheel... so it's kinda like it does look better, but the price is a bit of a detractor.

I do agree that the 2nd wheel would look really kickass on my Formula.. and I'm kinda on the fence with the first one, although I'd have to say that in person they look REALLY nice also.

Second question would be... do I get the 17x11 for the rear and run 275's on them, or do I go with 17 x 9.5 all the way around? M/T doesn't make their drag radial in a 315 right now, so I'd have to run a 275 still.

TT2s are more common, but no one around here really has the charcoal colored ones.

17x9.5 all around if you're only running a 275 tire... it'd look real funny running a 275 tire on a wide 17x11 wheel.

As for the type, I really think the TTMs in anthricite would look sharp on your purple car.

Yep the TTII's are a great looking wheel, I was excited when the M came out but after looking at it on cars it just doesn't look right. Maybe if they did and 18 x 11 out back and 18 x 9.5 up front...

I'd say the 2nd set, the 1st set look like they fell off a mustang.

Well I voted for the TTII. Cant really go wrong with the way they look and sure everyone has them.

The other wheels have a nice lip on the 17x11 but they kinda do look like they belong on a mustang

On a side note you will lose about .1 in the 1/4 with these wheels they are heavy, especially the 17x11

Well, the choice has been made, and I think I agree with the poll because that's what I ordered... Torq Thrust II, painted charcoal metallic... the Blackbird wheel. I went with 17x9.5" all the way around, should have them here in about 2-3 weeks.

I shopped around on having them painted myself, and it would have ended up costing me just as much as buying them from some place like Tom Henry, so I just saved myself the runaround and hassle and bought them from Tom Henry.

I get my TTII's tomorrow, will be powdercoating the centers black. I could bolt them on a purple bird if you want to see what it looks like. Interested in your 3rd purple bird?

I wouldn't go out of your way to do it, I already have an idea and I'll have the wheels here soon enough... but if you are curious and want to do it, that would be pretty cool.

As much as I would love to give it a good home, I currently don't have the cash or a place to park it, so I'd have to pass at the current time. I was under the impression you'd sold it already.. ended up finding the BPM WS6, and I'm pretty full up with cars now. If it weren't for those two stumbling blocks, I'd probably snag it from you.
