Limit pulls to two for each vehicle and no tuning. Takes too long. Keep the cars in order on the list. I was unexpectedly chosen before a guy who didnt want to run at the moment and had to make a pull when my car wasnt even at operating temp.
Also I was charged $85 for two pulls and tailpipe O2. I thought it was $30 for the first pull and $10 for each additional pull. I expected to pay $65 not $85. I also requested to have the O2 sensor installed in the collector bung but was told the tech couldnt reach it so it went into the tailpipe. The O2 was installed in the turbo Camaro downpipe that made like 8000 pulls.
Anyways, it was a fun day.

There was some confusion on the a/f reading cost. It was $25 last year but Nick posted somewhere(don't recall exactly where) that it was $45. That would explain the $85 vs. $65. O2 bungs are installed prior to the event. You kinda' have to plan ahead on that one.

Whether they are an LS1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 5.3L, 5.7. 6.0, 6.6, 7.0....they are all the same basic motor class, much like a SBC is. The question might be where would Ellis' car fall? It's probably more like a SBC than an LS, but an LT1 is not really a SBC either.
And how 'bout adding a Hard Luck Trophy George? Maybe I could win something that way....![Angel](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_angel.gif)

I have the Excel spreadsheet of the results of the dyno and I also have all the dyno runs... If you tell me where to post them, I'll get right on it!

thanks TTi !!!!
was a great time,
very long day
(mine started about 3:30pm on friday, arrived at TTi about 845am, got to spin the rollers about pm)
I see most people ended up with around 20hp lower than before,
is this due to the temps ? (my file said 85*F)
and I heard there had been a "software update"

014 is me in the red trans am. i sadly only made 300hp and 322tq. some more tuning and i wil be back up there seeing as how bad it fell apart at the end and how my fuel was set up.
take that old tune.
015 is my buddy chris spong with his silverish trans am with side exits. he made 322hp i dunno how much torque. but this even was bad *** especially since i wasn't out at sea when it was going on. now rain hold off for friday so i can get out to the track!!!

Oh and on the tuning, I say you must have your car tuned prior to Dyno Day Shoot Out. However, if there's a glitch or you want to up boost or change a jet, in the spirit of competition that would seem ok. Who really wants to stand around for ½ hour watching Ellis ply his trade, when we can be watching someone boil their hides?
