Can't wait to see 'em!...silly how my car with only 483hp SAE needs people in the back for traction when others don't...maybe it's the 560rwtq SAE that warrants that, lol! Could be the tires too tho...

Does anyone know/remember the name of the cool black guy in the old firebird? That's the only name I'm missing now. He told me, but my swiss-cheese brain can't pull it back from the abyss.

*Edit* Thanks to Nick's run files I figured it out. Waylen is the last piece of the puzzle. I'll try to get the vid done by tomorrow. Ryan and Lane, I dumped a lot of the raw footage, but I still have at least one run of each of you. I'll convert them to a smaller format to send as I can only send attachments up to 10mb.

Interesting...by arranging the right WinPep settings I was able to recover enough of the Torque info to determine my peak. Also, I smoothed out the spikes and came up with a final figure of 360hp/360tq. I am very pleased that my torque increased as well. I'm loving this little cam.

Ah, if that's you, then I'm going to have to figure this out...process of elimination I guess...who's dyno runs aren't accounted for...I'm seeing two Mike's, one is LS1RoadRacer...the other shows a run at 351hp...that sounds like the one then. Mystery Solved?

I was wondering about that. I didn't say anything as I didn't know whether you had sprayed. I'll mention it in the video for history's sake.

Brian, when cars spin on the dyno its more in the chassis set up and pinion angle. The position of the rear tires are important and need to be on the back side of the rollers. Weight transfer is important too. Normally if the car does well on the dyno it does well on the track Remember Jeff's mustang..no people piled in the rear to help it not spin and same with Chris's vette both made good power and not much tire spin.

Can you explain how pinion angle effects traction?

I, for the life of me, can't understand how this makes any difference. I just can't make the physics work.

You just sucked all the wind out of my sails... My car does do decent at the track tho...for what it is. Suspension is all stock. Maybe my car was on the wrong side of the rollers? Yeah, that's it!!! Jeff had drag radials too, I have random street tires that have seen better days too, lol.

My buddy from work Mike Boutte had the 69 Firebird with 351rwhp. He doesn't post on the forum.
