After being around the dyno day and not having a car to race this year...... I'm really getting the itch.

As some of you may know, I had to sell my Corvette due to money issues steming from my recent divorce.... But I'm really serious about purchasing an LS1 Camaro.

Now I know this is the place to start and so many of you have been like family to me, so I'm sincerely asking for you all to help me find a 98-02 SS, preferably black.

If its my race car, it has to be black!!! But I have to keep it around 8-10 grand! So any help will be appreciated. I may even sell my bike if I have too.

I think my old vert is up for sale and the price would be right. 65k miles, black with 02 black top, Ryans old SS hood, halfway through an Ebony interior swap, T56, LS6 intake and Edelbrock headers and with magnaflo catted Y and magnaflo exhaust. Other little mods here and there.

My SS could be had as a roller for that much.....well almost that much

That's what I'm looking for right there! Damn, where was I at.

I'm willing to work, but I'd prefer an SS. But hell, if the price was right........i'd take a Z or a T/A depending on many things obviously.

However, I'm thinking I'd prefer to go with an auto this time around. The M6's are far more fun on the street. But I want to build a track car! My plan is to basically build a full on race car!

Cage, 9inch, slicks, blah, blah blah....... you get the idea!!! I just miss it all so much.....

There is a newer T/A running around here for sale, I think he is wanting around 11 or so. Its black, and some dark *** tinted windows. Unsure of miles and mods. Looks real clean though. I will see if I can get some info on it.

Craigslist for the win.... I have bought so many vehicles in this local area off of CL. Usually if you can find something, and you know how to haggle, Like say bring cash (crisp 100's).. lol they will be very flexible on the price.
